Internet outage map, last hour

Shaded by visitor reports in the last hour. Darker means more reports. Nothing here comes from the providers.

Is it your Wi-Fi, or is it your internet?

Most of what gets reported as an outage is not one. These are the patterns worth telling apart before you assume the network is at fault.

Wi-Fi shows connected but nothing loads
That is usually the line, not the Wi-Fi. Your router is working, it just has nothing to pass on. Check the map above for your provider.
Only one device is affected
Not an outage. Every other device on the same Wi-Fi proves the line is fine, so the fault is on that device.
Mobile data works, Wi-Fi does not
The fault is somewhere between your router and your provider. Power-cycle the router first, then check your provider's page here.
Everything is out, including the router lights
Check your power before your internet. A power cut takes the router with it, and the power map on this site covers that.

Report an internet problem

Pick your provider below to report in one tap. No account, no email, and we do not store your exact location. Counts beside each name are the last 15 minutes.

How this map is built

Every square is a US state or the District of Columbia, shaded by how many people reported an internet problem there in the last hour. Reports come from visitors to this site and are not verified by any provider.

Your own area is worked out from your connection, not from your device location, so there is no permission prompt and nothing precise is stored. A low count does not prove service is healthy, and a high one does not confirm an official outage. For that, each provider page links straight to the provider's own status page where one exists.
