- Check a second device. If only one device is affected, the problem is that device, not the network.
- Power-cycle the router or modem. Unplug for 30 seconds, plug back in, wait two minutes for it to sync.
- Try mobile data. If a phone on cellular works and Wi-Fi does not, the fault is between your router and Straight Talk.
- Check the cables. A loose coax or fiber connector at the wall accounts for a surprising share of "outages".
